Is Bon Jovi Still Alive or Dead?

Jon Bon Jovi, is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and actor. He is best known as the founder and frontman of the rock band Bon Jovi, he also appeared in several films like Moonlight and Valentino, U-571, Sex and the City, Ally McBeal, and The West Wing.

He was born John Francis Bongiovi Jr. on March 2, 1962, to a Catholic family. Jovi started playing guitar and the piano at the age of 13. In 1983, Jovi and Alec John formed the band, “Bon Jovi” together with two other friends. Two years later they released their first single, “Runaway” which it peaked at No. 40 on the chart. The group gained popularity for their album, Slippery When Wet, and they went on to sell 28 million copies.

In 1990, Jovi launched his solo career with the soundtrack, Blaze of Glory, which immediately went to Number 1 on the Billboard 100 and won a Golden Globe. He also made appearances in films like National Lampoon’s Pucked, New Year’s Eve, and Pay It Forward.
