Robert John Wagner Jr. is an American actor. This Detroit native, is best known for his role in the television show Two and a Half Men and the police procedural NCIS.

Robert Wagner was born on February 10, 1930. He had always been interested in acting but was unsuccessful. His first successful role was on With a Song in My Heart in 1952. Following his success, he got other major roles from Fox like, Stars and Stripes Forever, What Price Glory and Titanic.

Wagner moved to Europe in 1962 and was popular for his role on The Pink Panther and The Great Race. He moved back to Hollywood and starred in the CBS series Switch, which aired from 1975 to 1978. He also starred alongside his wife Natalie Wood in the very successful TV series Charlie’s Angels.

In his later career, he starred in Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, Crazy in Alabama and Date My Dad.

Wagner was to married fellow actress Natalie Wood but they divorced in 1962. In 1981, Wood died mysteriously while on board a yacht with Wagner and fellow actor Christopher Walken. In 2018, Wagner was named by the police “person of interest” in the investigation into Wood’s death.
